01 Training philosophy

Joy. Intensity.
Repetition.

These are the DFB’s current published quality principles for youth training. Germania USA adds a fourth demand: decision-making under game pressure.

01

Joy

Players learn more when challenge and the love of the game coexist.

02

Intensity

High net playing time. Minimal lines. Every minute has a purpose.

03

Repetition

Many meaningful actions—not mindless repetition without opposition.

04

Decisions

Scan, choose and execute while the game is moving and resistance is real.

03 Technical leadership

Holger Kraft · Proposed Technical Director

German football
in the blood.

Kraft’s stated approach begins with an “analysis of the operating environment”: who the players are, what they bring, where they come from, what they need and what the training context can support.

“From that, I mold top players and a top team using the German game-based training system, combined with attributes from other countries.”
Player development

Game-real technique, tactical intelligence and confidence under resistance.

Coach development

A repeatable methodology designed to raise local delivery standards.

American adaptation
